After breaking in the heel just a bit, the Aftenia is totally comfortable. I initially thought I would just wear them casually, but after a very rushed Monday morning they looked great with my grey flannel trousers (since then, I have also worn them with a skirt, and they are equally flattering). I wouldn't wear them to an important meeting, but definitely a typical work day. The only read drawback I've had with these shoes has been getting the strap to adjust- sometimes its too tight, other times a bit loose. Being in the city, I walk (fast) everywhere and I like to feel that my shoes are snug enough that they can take a brisk pounding. Overall, these shoes are comfortable, have great cushioning (would prefer more arch support though), durable and I know they can keep up with my lifestyle.
