    Comments about Carrado:

First and foremost just got the Carrado's and have only worn them a few days. As expected from my previous experience with Tsubo (Apogee and Corvus models) these are extremely comfortable!!!!

All that said i really hope to see Tsubo return to exact design of both the Apogee and the Corvus. IMO The carrado is a downgrade from both models in terms of looks and possibly durability. The Apogee and Corvus were perfect..why discontinue them? I like the overall look of the carrado but do not care for the look the raised tubing that horseshoes around the the toe and forefoot. In all honesty this purchase was a compromise. I wanted something close to the Apogee or Corvus. As mentioned, I didn't particularly care for the look of the forefoot (tubing) but i wanted a slip on with the comfort of my last pair of apogees. If i could have purchased the Apogee or Corcus i wouldn't have even shopped other brands. The slight changes in look for this model was enough to make me at least look at non-Tsubo options. Both the apogee and corvus were more asthetically pleasing and versatile (They could look just as good casual but could also look more dressy as needed than the Carrado).

My Apogees and Corvus's i wore 3-4 years each and the durability was second to none. I am hoping for the same with my Carrado's, however, my one durability concern lies with the leather portion of the sole the is near the arch/midfoot. It is raised slightly off the ground by the heal and forefoot but it will become less so as the sole wears and in wet or snowy conditions it is still likely to be directly exposed to snow/water. Only time will tell but i have a hard time believing the sole of this model will hold up as well as the Apogee and Corvus. If you are in climate with less rain or snow this may be less of a concern for you.

So far i think i will enjoy my Carrado's but in all honesty if i could find a pair of Apogees or Corvus in my size tomorrow i would happily replace the Carrado with them.
