My husband is very particular when it comes to shoes. He likes comfortable shoes and generally opts for a wider fit. I have tried for years to find a brand that fits his needs while being stylish, but had no luck. He would always complain about his shoes. As soon as he tried the Wexler II on he told me those were the most comfortable shoes he had ever had. I finally found a brand that makes us both happy :)

I unintentionally fell onto Tsubo's Wexler II style shoe. I was completely unaware of Tsubo and it's line of shoes, but Tsubo is now the only shoe that I'll be buying. In my career I need to have a professional appearance so shoes have always been a big factor in my wardrobe. I have always bought high end shoes and thought they were comfortable, but after buying the Wexler II style, I have been brought to a new level of comfort. Another great factor is that you can dress up or dress down the Wexler II. They look great with my professional attire, but then you can do a quick change into more casual pants or even jeans and they look great. If you want to have extreme comfort and get copious compliments, buy these shoes. I bought my first pair in a department store, but my second pair (within two weeks) were bought on the Tsubo website. I was surprised at the selection of shoes. I really liked the site. It's attractive, easily navigated and checking out was fast and uncomplicated. I was leery about buying shoes that I couldn't try on, but I simply bought the same size and they fit exactly as my first pair. I am completely satisfied with my on line purchase experience and of course the shoes are fantastic.

Comments about Wexler II:

This is my 2nd pair of Tsubos, but my first pair of Wexlers and I have to say, they are outstanding! They look incredible on and they are comfortable for long-term use, however, only after pulling out the insoles. With the Tsubo insoles left inside, the top of my feet felt cramped and uncomfortable in the area right under the laces of the shoe (even without the laces tied); almost as if the shoe were a 1/2 size too small in that area only, when the rest of the shoe (width & length) felt quite comfortable.

I generally wear a size 9 shoe, but Tsubo only had an 8.5, so I decided to take a chance and order them with the thinking of if they didn't work out, they have free shipping and free returns. Well, like I said above, I'm glad I did order the 8.5s because even these (despite the issue I explained above) still feel about a half size too big in the toe section. However, I would advise against buying a whole size down only because of the tight fit in the laces area.

Those gripes about the fit aside, these shoes exude style & cool, while also falling carefully on the fine line of fashion-forward timelessness; the materials are heavy duty, craftsmanship top notch, unique eye-catching details, and versitale enough to be worn casually or in the office.

Upon opening the box for the very first time, I felt as if I had purchased something truly special, and that every dollar was well spent. On top of all that, the wealth of compliments of which I have received in just the few days since I've owned these shoes, have been indicative of an excellent purchase. You cannot go wrong with Tsubo!

In closing, the only reason this is not a 5-star review comess down to the fit, which can be remedied, like I stated, by removing the insole or by purchasing a thinner insole.

When my husband put these shoes on he said simply, "Aahhh..." That's when we knew that we'd finally found the shoes he could work in, on his feet, all the live long day! He has had knee surgeries and was a pro soccer player, so his knees have been through a lot. He has had to put on the "sports guy" persona to wear sneakers to work in, on his feet, all day long for years. However, now he can be comfortable and wear professional attire all at the same time! Bravo, Tsubo! Thank you!
PS The brown worked out so well, he now has them in black too!

Shoe fits great from heel to the ball of my foot. Toes are seriously cramped up though. Shoe is correct length &I have narrow feet so I know it's not me. Great for wearing on a limited basis but I wouldn't recommend for all day or extended wear.
